The Prayer Journey is MoveIn's largest annual prayer, mobilization and fundraising event. Across the world, hundreds prayerfully journey through high-needs neighbourhoods on the same day - this year on Saturday, June 17, 2023. We expect 500+ people to participate in 60 Prayer Journeys in 14 countries.

This year, Jessie will be leading a 5K prayer walk in east Toronto. Nigel will be doing a 15km run "warm up" the day before the Prayer Journey, and then he will do the 50km Toronto bike ride on Prayer Journey day. Both the 5K walk that Jessie does, and the 50km bike ride that Nigel does, will end at the same location - a first-of-its-kind After-Party! With dozens expected, many from youth and young adults groups, the After-Party will include dinner, worship, and testimonials; with Jessie emcee'ing and Nigel speaking. The goal of the After-Party is to celebrate the Prayer Journey, worship God together, and mobilize more young people to move into high-needs communities in Toronto and around the world.

In addition to a prayer and mobilization event, the Prayer Journey is a fundraising event. Nigel and Jessie are excited to lead and participate in this crucial aspect as well - to fuel the work.

This year the global goal is to raise $250,000. To help us reach this goal we have a $100,000 matching fund DOUBLING gifts.

Nigel & Jessie are raising funds to help MoveIn continue to grow across the world. Your gift fuels the work for the year ahead - through 25+ staff, conferences and events around the world, Bibles, good-news and discipleship materials, and so much more. We are working "to see thousands of regular believers prayerfully moving in among the unreached, urban poor globally" and to see hundreds of thousands of lives impacted as a result.
